Do you need to update your collaborative approach with resident teaching faculty? This session provides collaborative ideas on how an online embedded librarian model can be incorporated into resident instruction to progressively enhance student engagement, interaction, and success beyond the standard 50-minute, one-shot information literacy session. The session shares examples of library research projects ideal for collaboration among students, faculty, and librarians. Attendees will learn not only how the embedded librarian model implements Association of College and Research Libraries’ (ACRL) Standards for Distance Learning, and the Framework, but also explore how librarians can effectively implement open access, technology, and pedagogy, regardless of course designations.
