In this session, we explore early prototypes of A.I applications that are currently in development or utilized in limited settings at Penn State. These prototypes leverage machine learning in a way that empowers content discovery, course design and assessment, and reflective teaching practices. David R. Smith, associate dean for advising and executive director of the Division of Undergraduate Studies, will highlight a Transforming Education seed grant that was recently awarded to explore the use of predictive analytics in academic advising.
