Using devices in the maker spaces to express the meaning of concepts by building communities is the essence of this research. There are many ideas that develop as students discuss and manipulate the objects. This process is captured for evaluation and used to complete exercises. Students are often expected to establish connections and share knowledge for group collaborative work to share meaning with each other, but using only discussions seems to lack clarity and involvement. Working with maker spaces is built upon the foundation of constructionism and provides students with space to be creative.
