Faculty Learning Communities (FLCs) provide innovative options for faculty development that create lasting change when provided with the right supports. Teaching and Learning with Technology at Penn State launched an FLC pilot in the Spring of 2018. Come see the diversity of our Communities and how we are collaborating across our campuses. We will provide an overview of what we’ve learned along the way, and we will give you our best practices about our success with Teaching and Learning with Technology!

Representatives from the following groups/topics will be present to discuss their experiences in FLCs:
  • Innovative Instructional Technologies in the Classroom (IITC) and Critical Friends
  • Global Learning in Agriculture
  • Digital Fluency and Content Development
  • Mentoring Undergraduate Student Researchers
  • Open Education Resources: Local & Global Appeal
  • Scholarship of Teaching and Learning in Chemistry
